Comments: For those of you not familiar with Schuyler Lovestrand you are in for a treat, as he is one of the best and most talented fixed-blade masters in knife making today. A long time Knife Maker's Guild Member, Schuyler has been making knives for more than 17 years and currently has an 18 month waiting list. Many people try to catch him at shows, but since he only attends one a year that's not as easy as it sounds!
This is Schuyler's interpretation of the Classic Loveless Drop-point, impeccably rendered in 154-CM and 416 Stainless. The fossil mammoth scales are perfectly matched and have a wonderful patina which is perfectly set off by the red fiber liners. The blade has a wonderful polish and you could not ask for a cleaner or more crisp grind. This work can be compared in quality to anyone making knives today - and we mean anyone! You will not be dissappointed.
