Comments: For those of you not familiar with Schuyler Lovestrand you are in for a treat, as he is one of the best and most talented fixed-blade masters in knife making today. An 18 year Knife Maker’s Guild Member, Schuyler has actually been making knives for almost 25 years and currently has an 18 month waiting list. Many people try to catch him at shows, but since he only attends one a year that’s not as easy as it sounds!
This one of Schuyler’slick small hunters rendered in CPM-154 and 416 Stainless. The presentation grade Sambar Stag scales are perfectly matched and have a wonderful patina which really dresses up the knife. The blade has a wonderful polish and you could not ask for a cleaner or more crisp grind. This work can be compared in quality to anyone making knives today – and we mean anyone!
