Comments: For those of you not familiar with Schuyler Lovestrand you are in for a treat, as he was one of the best and most talented fixed-blade masters in knife making today. An 18 year Knife Maker's Guild Member, Schuyler has actually been making knives for almost 25 years and currently has an 18 month waiting list. Many people try to catch him at shows, but since he only attends one a year that's not as easy as it sounds!

This one of Schuyler' slick small hunters rendered in CPM-154 and 416 Stainless. The presentation grade Desert Ironwood Burl has a wonderful patina which really dresses up the knife. The blade has a wonderful polish and you could not ask for a cleaner or more crisp grind. This work can be compared in quality to anyone making knives today - and we mean anyone! You will not be disappointed.

Schuyler sadly passed away February 2nd, 2025 surrounded by his large and loving family.

This knife is one of the last knives we purchased from him at the 2024 Blade Show in Atlanta.

We purchased our first knife from Schuyler in 1990 at the Knife Makers Guild Show in Orlando.

He will be sorely missed
