Comments: This attractive spearpoint folder is a new variation on one of our favorite knife makers Warren Osborne knife patterns, and it is drop-dead gorgeous from every angle. The overall attention to detail and fine machine work on the releases are so precise it’s almost scary, but that’s a large part of what makes an Osborne knife so desirable.
The scales are of stunning presentation grade Mother of Pearl and the frame is gorgeously engraved by Brian Hochstrat in classic Equestrian theme with numerous gold inlays. The knife has a double-ground spearpoint blade to completes the package. Gentleman‚ These folders just don’t come any more precise or refined than this one.
We just love this knife!
Warren Osborne was known for his high-end custom folding knives, many of them interframes ornately engraved by some of the industry’s leading embellishers. Warren is gone now, but his knife designs may be best known among the largest number of people through his many collaborations with Benchmade Knife Co. Osborne was a full-time knifemaker, selling his first custom knife in 1980. He was known for his cowboy hat and cowboy boots, and could be found at knife shows and Blade Sports International (BSI) cutting competitions. He was very instrumental in the beginning of BSI, the world’s leading association for people who compete in knife-cutting competitions.
