Comments: Knife maker Van Barnett certainly needs no introduction, as he was a member of the Art Knife Invitational (AKI) the most elite group of knife makers on the planet, for many years.
Here we have a very fine example of sole authorship with steel, finishing and stone setting all by the maker.
The front and rear bolsters are composed of carved and blued mild steel decorated with 23K Gold Keum-boo which is 23K gold sheet hear fused to sterling silver. There are also gold pins.
