Comments: Knife maker Van Barnett certainly needs no introduction as he has been a member of the Art Knife Invitational (AKI) the most elite group of knife makers on the planet for many years.
This knife is pictured under construction in the second David Darom Book on the world’s finest Fixed Blade knife makers.
Here we have a very fine example of sole authorship with steel, finishing and engraving all by the maker. All of the gold inlays are of 24k gold with the gold name plate in 14k. The handle is of exceptionally rare Gaboon Ebony which is no longer available and has the color of dark black marble.
