Comments: Knife maker Van Barnett certainly needs no introduction as he was a member of the Art Knife Invitational (AKI) the most elite group of knife makers on the planet for many years.
This knife was made in 1992, so it is a perfect example of vintage Van Barnett. Superb satin-finished flared blade of 440C stainless gives the dagger an exotic feel. Guard, pommel and handle are of aluminum bronze with Fossil Mammoth trim.
There are some small pits and areas of discoloration on the pommel, but otherwise the knife is in fine condition, especially for its age.
Van no longer takes orders, so this is a chance to own an exceptional Art Dagger with wonderful provenance for much less than current replacement cost.
