Comments: Here is a wonderful Full-dress Searles Bowie by top maker and AKI Member Tom Overeynder. This classic shape has been around a long time, but no one does it better than Tom. The 9 1/4 inch ATS-34 blade is beautifully ground, and has a superb hand-rubbed satin finish.

The Fossil Mammoth Handle is gorgeously carved and checkered by the maker, and the guard and butt cap are cold blued and elegantly decorated with Gold and French Gray by gun engraver Master Ron Smith.

The sheath is beautifully formed in Nickel Silver with Leather inlays, and has an engraved button by Master Ron Smith as well. The knife has been pictured in many magazines and appears in one of Jim Weyer's Points of Interest books as well.

Tom has not made one of these masterpieces in some time and we've never seen a nicer one!
