Comments: Most of you are probably already familiar with the super clean fully-integral drop-point hunters by knife making legend Ted Dowell - but if you are not you are in for a treat. Ted is one of the 11 Founding Members of the Knife Makers Guild and has never missed a Guild Show. Ted was also way ahead of the curve when he began making fully integral cap and hilt knives, and had the first two for sale at the NRA Show in Portland Oregon in May of 1972!

Even after all these years no one makes a full integral quite like Ted, and I have one I purchased from him for my own collection at a Guild Show in the late 80s that I will never sell! Super clean lines and great fit and finish of the scales remind us of a finely mounted gunstock and we think you will feel the same way. Own this knife and own a piece of knife making history!

The walnut knife has the rare Ted Dowell, Bend Oregon etching on the blade instead of the usual round TMD escutcheon. Ted and Betty tell us this was at the request of customers who wanted to show as much of the fine wood scales as possible. We also learned that there were no more than six or eight Dowells etched in this fashion which makes them quite rare! Complete with original wet molded pouch type sheath.

Show this knife to a friend!
