Comments: At this point it's pretty much a given that Steve Johnson makes the finest traditional stock-removal custom knives on the planet. Steve calls this model the Small Chute. The scales are outstanding presentation grade Sheep Horn and the grind, fit and finish are just what you would expect from the best - simply flawless!
The finger grooves on the top and bottom of the tang are another interesting and rare detail.
The engraving is by Master Julie-Warenski-Erickson and is just perfect for the shape and style of the knife. Great work Julie! No serious collection of modern traditional fixed-blade custom knives is complete without at least one Steve Johnson. Don't let this classic slip by!
