Comments: At this point it's pretty much a given that Steve Johnson makes the finest traditional stock-removal custom knives on the planet.This is a dressed up version of Steve's Classic Hunter.

This particular knife was decorated by the deceased Master Engraver Lynton McKenzie. Lynton was considered one of the finest engravers to ever touch a knife, and his exceptional work rarely comes to market. The engraving is all high-relief 24k Gold and absolutely has to be seen in person for the full effect.

I have never seen a nicer Lynton McKenzie engraved Johnson knife, and this one is absolutely world-class!

The scales are outstanding presentation grade Fossil Mammoth, and the grind, fit and finish are just what you would expect from the best - simply flawless!
