Here is another exceptional knife by inter-frame master Steve Hoel.This is Steve’s version of the classic Remington Muskrat, and as with all of Steve‚Äôs masterpieces the fit and finish is flawless and the knife opens and closes with astonishing smoothness.
The knife has been engraved and signed by Italian Master Engraver Firmo Fracassi – considered by many to be the finest in the world in the Bulino style. The engraving is so stunning that it almost looks like a photograph and simply has to be seen in person to be believed.
Work by Fricassi is exceptionally rare and virtually never comes to market. And this one is illustrated in Jim Weyer’s Points of Interest as well as the Fracassi Engraving Book.
In fact it would be hard to think of a more famous Fracassi engraved knife!
