Comments: Here is another exceptional knife by inter-frame master Steve Hoel. It has a classic clip-point blade and wonderfully shaped scales of Abalone and Green Sea Snail - both precious materials which are no longer available! As with all of Steve’s masterpieces the fit and finish is flawless and the knife opens and closes with astonishing smoothness.

The knife has been engraved and signed by Italian Master Francesca Fricassi, daughter of Master Engraver Firmo Fricasi - considered by many to be the finest in the world in the Bulino style. The engraving is so stunning that it almost looks like a photograph and simply has to be seen in person to be believed.

And recently the Fricassis have engraved two bolsters on a smaller knife for an important collector at a cost of $35,000! Which means this knife is an incredible value to say the very least!

Work by either Fricassi is exceptionally rare and viturally never comes to market.
