Comments: Slick fully integral Spear-pont by accomplished Austrian maker Stefan Gobec. The blade and handle are of highly polished RWL-34 steel that has been deeply carved by the very talented engraver Miroslav Makovicka.
The most famous knife maker in Austria, Stefan studied gun making and shafting after which he then worked building rifles for the Scheiring company. He began making knives in 1985 and attended his first show as an exhibitor in Munich the same year.
Influenced by the sculptor Markus Weselka, he became a full-time knife maker in 1997. Stefan is a member of a number of the world's most prestigious knife making organizations including the American, Italian and German knife makers Guilds.
