Comments: These are stunning slip-joint folders by the excellent Japanese maker Shigeru Tozaki. The shapes are of his own design but have the feeling of vintage classics that have been updated. Shigeru calls the model with the pearl inlay the Hyotan folder and the model without the pearl inlay the Crimson H.
The fit and finish is superb, and the knives open and close like a dream. Shigeru does his own engraving, and was brought to our attention by noted Japanese slip-joint Master Ryuichi Kawamura. The bolsters are hand-tooled Nickel-silver, and each knife comes with a hand tooled leather case. Perfect for daily carry, these are some of the most beautifully made knives we've seen in a long while. Try one and see for yourself - you will not be disappointed!
