This single bolstered ‚ÄúSwift”‚Äô is one of our favorite Scott Sawby models. It has a lovely shape and just seems to melt into the hand. The execution is flawless and the knife opens and closes like a dream. And it simply doesn’t have a bad angle.
An important part of the package is Scott’s patented “self-lock” which can easily be operated with one hand and gets tighter if you try to close the knife without pressing the lock correctly.
Wayne D’ Angelo expertly engraved the bolsters with a generous amount of gold, and the delicate Art Nouveau portraits compliments the shape of the knife beautifully. Scott Sawby is one of the most collectible makers, and this a superb example of his work.
