Comments: This classic “Self-Lock Dagger” is one of our favorite Scott Sawby models. It has a lovely shape and just seems to melt into the hand. The execution is flawless and the knife opens and closes like a dream. And it simply doesn’t have a bad angle. Top-notch inlays of Presentation Grade Fossil Mammoth tops off the package.
The stunning engraving is by Master Dan Wilkerson, and is in a familiar style not widely seen. If you are not familiar with Dan’s work you are in for a surprise as it’s truly outstanding. Scott Sawby is one of the most collectible makers, and this a superb and hard to find example of his work.
As you can see by the etching on the blade, this is one of the legendary Barrette-Smyth knives.
