Comments: Folks I really love this knife, but personally I didn’t know much of anything about Ron Richard, so I contacted Gary Levine at Levine Knives for a few relevant facts. And rather than paraphrase Gary I am just going to quote him with his permission.
Ron Richard was a very good maker and was also one of the early mechanism guys. He was a follower of Bob Hayes the father of the cool mechanism. These were the makers that influenced Michael Walker – Gary Levine.
The frame of this attractive Button-lock is of blue anodized Titanium while the blade is of ATS-34. The fit and finish is superb and the knife opens and closes like the fine piece of machinery it is. A really great knife of special historical value to admirers of Michael Walker and Bob Hayes.
