Those familiar with the work of ABS Master Smith Ron Newton are already aware that although he can make any type of knife in any style he is best known for his Antique English and American Bowie reproductions. And this Antique Horse Head Sheffield Bowie is just one example of what makes Ron’s knives so special. It is also the first of this specific model that Ron has made. The blade is ground from ATS-34, and the nicely matching Mammoth Ivory scales are super-premium and caramel colored. The tang has been coin-edged for better contrast, and the guard and Horse Head Pommel are made of Sterling Silver. A stunning custom-made cow-hide sheath with staineless tip and throat complete the package. A great knife that is just another chip from the Master's work bench.
