Those familiar with the work of ABS Master Smith Ron Newton are already aware that although he can make any type of knife in any style he is best known for his Antique English and American Bowie reproductions. And this folding California Price Dagger is a perfect example of what makes Ron’s knives so special. The blade and bolsters are forged from 1095 and 15N20 steels in Ron’s own shop. He calls this his Diamond Ladder Pattern! The handles are highlighted with Gold inlays and engraving in 14K and 24K gold, and the hand-made decorative rivets are in sterling silver. This is one of the most special knives we've seen in recent years and an ideal example of Ron Newton’s skill and artistry. Thanks Ron.
