Comments: Those of you who are familiar with the Ricardo Velarde story already know that he had two of the finest knife making mentors on the planet. Steve Johnson was Ricardo's early mentor, followed by a year in Dietmar Kressler's shop learning to make flawless integrals.
Ricardo has done both of his mentors proud with this stunning fully integral Sub-hilt Fighter Boot. The guards feature Ricardo's trade-make satin and high polished banding, and the grips are made from a superb pair of perfectly matched presentation grade Sambar Stag scales. An absolutely flawless piece of work in a timeless shape.
