Each one is an extraordinary adventure in knife making, and there is simply nothing like them anywhere. This knife, called "Rare Earth" because of its Tantalum frame, was created by Ray Appleton. It features the Appleton Infa- lock System with unlimited separate blade-lock positions, and is simply stunning! The detail on the blade, frame and pivot is extraordinary and could only be realized by a true master craftsman. The engraving is by deceased Master Patricia Walker.

The knife is also pictured in Volume 4 of the Jim Weyer "Points of Interest" book series. This is a one of a kind piece and a must have for the serious Appleton collector!
