Other Michael Walker Knives

Walker started as a jeweler. One day his wife, Patricia Walker, gave him a gerber knife and a copy of Americal Blade Magazine.  He noticed the similarities between his jewelry and the custom art knives and decided he would try his luck with knifemaking. Walker patented or trademarked over 20 different mechanisms for locks and composite cutting blades on pocketknives. In 2004, Walker was inducted into the Blade magazine's Cutlery Hall of Fame.
