Comments: Mark Daley is a knife maker based in a small town in Ontario Canada and he specializes in handcrafted artistic knives. He has been working as a goldsmith for over 15 years. While at College, he made a few knives which he really enjoyed.
As Mark says "I have been interested in knife making for some time, but it has only been the last few years that I became serious about pursuing it. For me knife making is a nice mix of the sculptural aspect of jewelry and the accuracy of machining. I think of the knives I make as jewelry. But it is also very important that they perform well."
This wonderful knife is a Higonokami style slip-joint with a frame of Bronze and a blade of differentially heat treated 1095 steel. The stylish decorations include 14K Gold leaves, silver-gold and copper alloy leaves as well as one pure copper leaf.
Fine original work at a reasonable price - you won't be disappointed.
