Comments: Most of you are no doubt familiar with Swedish Master Smith Kaj Embretsen, but few people know that this wizard of the Damascus folder also makes two-bladed knives. Not too long ago one of Kaj’ best clients asked him to build a two-bladed folder with five-bar Damascus blades.
Eagerly rising to the challenge, Kaj created enough five-bar mosaic Damascus for three two-blade folding knives – this is the third, and for the time being, the last in the series.
As you can see there is one drop-point and one clip-point blade, both from Kaj’ exquisite mosaic Damascus. Both blades and the back-strap are artfully filed and have special raised and checkered lock releases.
The bolsters are made from Embretsen explosion Damascus, and are wonderfully contrasted by the exceptional fossil mammoth cales.Although the photo does not do them justice, the scales are full of dark earth tones as well as stunning silver streaks that we have never seen before. Simply another Kaj Embretsen masterpiece!
