Comments: Most of you are no doubt familiar with Swedish
Master Smith and long time AKI Member Kaj Embretsen, but few people know that this wizard
of the Damascus folder also makes three-bladed Bartender’s knives.
As you can see there is one drop-point, a cork-screw and one short hawk-bill blade, all from Kaj’ exquisite mosaic
Damascus. The liners are filed and all of the blades work on the slip-joint principle.
The bolsters
are made from Embretsen Random Twist Damascus, and are wonderfully
contrasted by the exceptional Sambar Stag scales, and they are perfectly set off by yellow gold pins all the way around. The cork-screw is hand-filed from Damascus and takes forever to make!
Simply another Kaj Embretsen masterpiece!
