Comments: This absolutely unique one-of a-kind John W. Smith folder was patterned after a tie made by high-end Italian clothing manufacturer Brioni. The entire surface of the frame is engraved by John in the same tiny repeating patterns found on Brioni ties.
The knife was featured in a full-page color article in the February 2001 issue of Blade Magazine. In fact, it comes with a mint copy of the magazine as well as the actual Brioni Silk Tie the knife was patterned on! There is also a solid gold thumb-stud and inlaid borders of 24K yellow Gold on both sides of the frame.
