Comments: This John W. Smith folder has it all. And as usual
that means sole authorship. John has done everything on this knife
including forging and bluing the Damascus as well as engraving
the back-strap with 24 carat gold.
The entire frame is of 18K Gold, the only Gold Frame Smith ever made. John has also said he will not make another! All of the engraving is by John of course.
The back-strap and spine of the
blade are also gold engraved, and those parts of the back-strap
that are not engraved are filed in the shape of a rope. Cleanly
filed and gold anodized titanium liners set off the blued Damascus. Finally,
John’s name is engraved in gold at the base of the blade – truly the ultimate Smith folder!
