The action of the blades is super smooth, and have just the right amount of spring tension to make the knife walk and talk like a champ. All five blades are impeccably satin finished as are the bolsters which have been engraved by Jack. There is also a solid gold shield and the knife is trimmed with presentation-grade mother of pearl.
