Comments: I have to admit that we've been big Jack Busfield fans for many years. In the 80s and 90s Jack's knives were the reference standard for inter-frame folders along with those made by Steve Hoel, and it's taken a number of years for the rest of the market to catch up to them. By the way, even though Jack does not go to shows any more he is still making knives, and we have several of his best patterns on the way for those who are interested.
This Classic BK Folder pattern is in the smaller of Jack's three sizes, however there is nothing small about the quality of this piece. Perfect grinds and flawless fit and finish are the hallmarks of a Busfield folder, and this beauty is no exception. Above all, the presentation-grade Gold-lip Pearl scales come from Jack's own private stock, and are simply superb.
John 'Jack' Busfield is a full time knife maker. He sold his first knife in 1979.
