Comments: I have to admit that we’ve been big Jack Busfield
fans for many years. In the 80s and 90s Jack’s knives were the
reference standard for inter-frame folders along with those made
by Steve Hoel and it’s taken a number of years for the rest of
the market to catch up to them. By the way, even though Jack does
not go to shows any more he is still making knives, and we have
several of his best patterns on the way for those who are interested.
This classic Price Dagger pattern is in the larger of Jack’s three
sizes, and that leaves plenty of room for the Italian Master Engraver Aldo Rizzini to work his magic. The knives are completely engraved in the Bulino style on
both sides and have some of the nicest work we’ve seen.
Absolutely
delicious!
