Comments: I have to admit that we’ve been big Jack Busfield
fans for many years. In the 80s and 90s Jack’s knives were the
reference standard for inter-frame folders along with those made
by Steve Hoel, and it’s taken a number of years for the rest of
the market to catch up to them.
This classic Trailing-point is one of Jack’s most popular designs, and that leaves plenty of room for master engraver Steve Lindsay to work his magic. The knife is completely engraved in 24 carat gold on
both sides, and has some of the finest Classic Bank-note engraving we’ve ever seen.
In fact, gold is used liberally on both sides, and really helps
to set off the presentation grade gold-lip pearl scales. This is the first gold engraved Steve Lindsay knife we’ve seen for sale in years, and most would agree that his work is second to none.
You may also know that Steve no longer accepts orders for knife engraving, and works exclusively on high-end shotguns and rifles. This is a chance to own an incredibly rare masterwork by two of the ultimate artists in their fields – don’t let it slip by!
