And with work like this it's easy to see why Howard was included in David Darom's recent reference work on Custom Folding knives. Howard is really playing with the big boys these days when it comes to highly original art knives.
This all Stainless Damascus model simply sparkles, and is inlayed generously with solid gold details. The blade is also decorated with a solid gold thumb stud topped with a sapphire instead of a traditional nail nick. The pivot is also adorned with black-lip pearl trimmed by 18 carat gold. This gorgeous knife won "Best of Show" at the most recent East Coast Custom Knife Show. . It would make an ultimate daily carry piece.
