Comments: A superb folder by talented Japanese Artist Harumi Hirayama. The scales are of beautiful Mother of Pearl that have been carved by hand and decorated with gold pins in the classic Harumi fashion.
She uses no power tools, and is no longer taking orders.Each piece is absolutely one of a kind - and they have to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. I don't think I've ever seen an artist sell out faster at a show - and they very rarely come to market.
