In fact, the Eggerling Damascus in most of Frank Potter’s knives is strictly proprietary and is not sold to any other knife makers! The scales are made of presentation grade fossil mammoth, and the frame liners and back spring are filed and heat colored blue.
Frank made only 17 knives a year, and with his passing they are sure to increase in value with time. A great master who will be missed.
