Comments: This wonderful fancy Spear-point folder is by talented Italian knifemaker Francesco Pachi. The fit and finish is superb, and the uniquely sculpted blade provides an additional point of interest. The knife opens and closes flawlessly, and it looks just as wonderful closed as in the fully open position.

The presentation quality Mother of Pearl scales are a perfect complement to the blue and red coloration of the Damascus, as are the 18K gold screws, thumb-stud. All in all a remarkable knife by a remarkable and original maker.

Unfortunately due to serious allergies to some of the chemicals used in the knife making process, Francesco is no longer able to make knives, although he is still doing knife photography professionally. Our guess is that these Francesco Pachi knives will only increase in value due to their scarcity as well as their high quality and modest price.
