Comments: This wonderful fancy Warncliffe folder is by talented Italian maker Francesco Pachi. It features an original design as well as stunning Mosaic Damascus bolsters by the maker. The fit and finish is superb, and the perfectly polished blade provides an additional point of interest. The knife opens and closes flawlessly, and it looks just as wonderful closed as in the fully open position.
The presentation quality Fossil Walrus scales are a perfect compliment to the high contrast coloration of the Damascus, as are the 18K gold screws and thumb-stud All in all a remarkable knife by a remarkable and original maker.
Unfortunately due to serious allergies to some of the chemicals used in the knife making process, Francesco is no longer able to make knives, although he is still doing knife photography professionally. Our guess is that these knives will only increase in value due to their scarcity as well as their high quality and modest price.
