Here is another knife from German knife maker Dietmar Kressler that can only be described as perfection in steel. Of course Dietmar is best known to collectors as the top maker of integral knives in the world today, and this fully integral Classic Loveless style Sub-hilt Fighter does not disappoint on that account.

Unlike the standard Sub-hilt this stunning piece is machined from Stainless Damascus, one of the very few Dietmar has made, in fact this is a small version of the Damascus Sub-hilt sold recently at the 2007 Art Knife Invitational (AKI) in San Diego.

The presentation grade Fossil Mammoth Ivory scales are perfectly matched , and are nicely contoured for comfort, so the knife sits nicely in the hand. This is an absolutely stunning piece from Dietmar, and a must for any serious Kressler collector.
