Comments: At this point what more can you say about Bob Loveless, that he was the most influential knife maker ever, that he was a living legend and more - yes, but even more importantly, Bob was one hell of a knife maker!
This is the rare Long Bolster Straight knife with all of the bells and whistles. Made in Riverside CA it sports stainless long bolsters, has the very desirable Double Nude logo and the original Loveless sheath signed by Bob.
According to Jim Merritt at the Loveless shop, only 25 of this model were made specifically for the Japanese market - so it's an understatement to say they are few and far between.
Even more astonishing is the engraving on this piece by legendary American Master Steve Lindsay. Work by this engraver is among the most highly sought after in the custom knife world, and it is extremely rare for any examples of his supreme art to be offered for sale. On top of that Steve no longer engraves knives, making any of the existing pieces even more valuable.
