Comments: At this point what more can you say about Bob Loveless, that he was the most influential knife maker ever, that he was a living legend and more - yes, but even more importantly, Bob was one hell of a knife maker!
The Big Bear Sub Hilt is the absolute top-of-the-line Loveless, and this one made in Riverside CA, sports a stainless guard and all stainless fittings. It also has the very rare and desirable "Camo" Rag Micarta scales, the most sought after Double-nude logo, and is complete with the proper Loveless sheath.
Camo Rag Micarta was Bob's favorite and only used briefly about 20 years ago on a number special one-of-a-kind knives. And once the small supply was gone that was the end of Loveless knives with this fascinating handle material.
This knife is also engraved by deceased artist Dan Wilkerson. Dan engraved many fine Loveless pieces in his career and this is one of the most attractive we've seen to date.
No serious modern custom knife collection is complete without at least one of Bob's knives. And if you are looking for one special Loveless to fill our your collection we don't think you are likely to see a finer one!
