Comments: At this point what more can you say about Bob Loveless, that he was the most influential knife maker of all time, that he was a true legend and more - yes, but even more importantly, Bob was one hell of a knife maker!

This is the Ultra-rare Loveless Gut Hook Skinner. Most folks have seen photos of a Loveless Gut Hook, but very few people actually own one of these knives. Made originally in a very small batch in the 1980, and then in a second small batch just before Bob died this last September, the Gut Hook is one of the most elusive and desirable Loveless knives of all!

Made in Riverside CA it sports long bolsters as well as hidden pins, and stainless escutcheon as well has the coveted Double-nude logos. It came from the Loveless shop in the fall of 2010 in the last group of knives to leave the shop while Bob was still there every day.

All of the sheaths from that last group are marked 9-2-10, which is the day Bob passed away. And while all Gut Hooks are rare there are most likely not more than four with Long Bolsters, Hidden Pins and a Stainless Escutcheon!

Own this knife and own a piece of a true legend. Complete with original Loveless sheath signed by Bob. No serious modern custom knife collection is complete without at least one of Bob's knives, and the Nesmuck is a great place to start!
