Comments: This small single-blade fighter is one of
the finest Barry Davis knives I have ever seen. It has stunning
antique Amber scales backed and trimmed with gold foil for brilliance.
The scales are secured with gold pins and trimmed with a frame
of yellow gold at each bolster. Best of all the liners are all solid gold!
The release tab is also finished in gold, which sets
off the rope filed back spring perfectly. The gold liners are elegantly
filed and there is even a solid gold bale, thumb stud and blade-stop inside the knife! This piece is pure elegance from Barry.
And with the current price of gold Barry tells replacement cost would be $6500!
