Comments: This elegant new folder is the brain child of highly regarded Italian knife maker Attilio Morotti. An enthusiastic Archer who builds his own bows, he was introduced to the world of hand-made art knives in 1992 by a group of friends who took him to a show featuring a number of top notch cutlers.
He was so taken by the quality and refinement of their work he immediately decided to begin making his own knives. Like most makers he began with fixed blades, but quickly decided his interests lay with high quality folders.
And because of his love of crafts, and the advice of many experience knife makers, on June 2nd 2007 he was appointed "Maestro della Corporazione Italiana Coltellinai" which loosely translates to "Master of Knife Making in the Italian Knife Guild".
He only does one show a year in America, the East Coast Custom Knife Show, and is generally assisted by his lovely daughter Cristina.
This particular model is a slick liner-lock spear-point with finely polished frame and damascus blade along with artfully carved liners and back spacer. The scales are superb Fossil Mammoth Tooth and the knife opens and closes like a fine piece of machinery!
Hard to find but easy to love! Try one and you won't be disappointed!
