I am a self-taught, full-time knife maker. I started out forging ornamental iron work.  I forged my first knife in 1995 from a railroad spike and have been making knives ever since.

Although I specialize in mostly in a Loveless style knives, I also enjoy making Sheffield styled daggers and bowies, San Francisco knives and early American bowies and tomahawks.

I enjoy making fixed blade knives in a wide variety of classic, period and modern patterns and use a wide variety of handle materials both natural and synthetic. I also make my own leather and Kydex sheaths. My favorite steel to use is CPM154 but I also make my own Damascus.

I like clean elegant designs and strive to make the next knife better than the last

Some of the makers I look up to and draw inspiration from are, Bob Loveless, Steve Johnson, Steve Rapp

Every piece is made by hand and all phases of production and construction are performed by me including heat treatment.
