This double bolstered ‚ÄúWoodsman”‚Äô is one of our favorite Scott Sawby models. It has a lovely shape and just seems to melt into the hand. The execution is flawless and the knife opens and closes like a dream. And it simply doesn‚Äôt have a bad angle.
An important part of the package is Scott’s patented “buton-lock” which can easily be operated with one hand and gets tighter if you try to close the knife without pressing the lock correctly.
Jere Davidson expertly engraved the bolsters with a generous amount of gold, and the delicate vine pattern compliments the shape of the knife beautifully. Scott Sawby is one of the most collectible makers, and this a superb example of his work.
