This knife, created by Ray and Ron Appleton, is called Winnie Mae after the famous Lockheed Model 5C Vega flown around the world twice by legendary aviator Wiley Post in 1930 and 1933. It is featured in David Darom' first book on folding art knives.
It also has the Appleton Multi- lock System with 3 separate blade-lock positions, and is simply stunning! The detail on the blade, frame and pivot is extraordinary and could only be realized by a true master craftsman.
This is a one of a kind piece and a must have for the serious Appleton collector! Don't miss your chance to own a famous knife with an impeccable pedigree!
