Comments: At this point it's pretty much a given that Steve Johnson makes the finest traditional stock-removal custom knives on the planet. And these two models are some of Steve's earliest and most popular.
The top knife is called "Bill's Drop" after a close friend. This is an early model knife with Nickel Silver guard. The scales are outstanding premium Cocobolo, and the grind, fit and finish are just what you would expect from the best - simply flawless!
The second knife, Steve's Short Hunter, has a Brass guard, a blade of ATS-34 and a set of premium Cocobolo scales. No serious collection of modern traditional fixed-blade custom knives is complete without at least one Steve Johnson. Don't let this classic slip by!
