Comments: This John W. Smith folder has it all. And as usual that means sole authorship. John has done everything on this knife including engraving the frame with 24 carat gold. And there is a solid gold thumb-stud and solid gold screws throughout.

The frame and blade of this masterpiece are made of plain steel and not damascus which means the engraving process is much more difficult and time consuming than with regular steel. The end result is engraving of superior clarity and durability.

The back-strap is filed in the shape of a rope, and cleanly filed and anodized titanium liners set off the the flawless Smith trade-mark Sunrise Pearl, just perfectly. Finally, John's name is engraved in gold at the base of the blade - the ultimate Smith folder!
