The guards are of fine Mosaic Damascus surrounded by outstanding scales of well matched presentation-grade Fossil Mammoth Ivory. This is an amazing knife for the money - in fact it's an amazing knife period! Fabrizios knives are in great demand in Europe and he does not currently participate in any American knife shows.
