Comments: Classic lines from a classic maker. D'Holder is second to none when it comes to fixed blades with clean lines, wonderful shapes and crisp grinds. This beautiful and rare Sub-hilt Fighter, engraved by Mel Wood has wonderful Presentation Grade Yellow Amber and Oosic scales along with a perfect double-grind.

D'Holder Sub-hilt Fighters are rare and we cannot remember ever seeing one quite as nice. The knife also comes complete with an attractive sheath finished in a traditional pattern by the maker.

D is a member of the Knife Makers Hall of Fame and has also been a member of the Knife Makers Guild for more than 32 years. He has served as on its board of directors in every position including President.

He is also the recipient of the 1981 Red Watson Memorial Friendship Award, the 1991 Berretta Award and the 1997 Blade Magazine's Publisher's Award. This is really wonderful work from a top notch maker who is a true legend in his craft.
